Strasburg C-3 School District is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional / Support Staff position for the 2026–2027 school year.

Strasburg C-3 is a small, close-knit rural district committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience for all students. The district serves approximately 135 students in grades K–8 and employs 19 certified staff members, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive professional environment.

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will support classroom teachers and students in grades K–8 by assisting with instruction, supervision, and daily classroom operations. This position plays a vital role in helping meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of all students while contributing to a positive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and lesson implementation
-Provide small group and one-on-one support to students as directed
-Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
-Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, recess, and other school settings
-Help maintain a safe, organized, and productive learning environment
-Assist with preparation of instructional materials and classroom organization
-Support students with technology use, including Chromebooks
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success
-Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
-Perform other duties as assigned by administration

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s degree or college coursework preferred)
-Experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
-Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to support a variety of student needs
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
-Must meet Missouri requirements for paraprofessionals (including background check and any applicable certifications)
