 OLD BUSINESS

A. The board approved the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction Plan, no changes were made at this time. 

NEW BUSINESS

A. Student Council representative Caleb Wingard recognized the Board of Education for their hard work and dedication. Cards from students and certificates were presented to each member.

B. The board approved the professional development program evaluation.

C. The board approved the curriculum program evaluation.

D. The board approved to let bids for milk, bread, and propane.

E. The board awarded the bid to Stout Fencing to complete the playground project.

F. The board took no action on adopting a resolution opposing legislation regarding open enrollment.

 The board adjourned to go into closed session pursuant to RSMo. 610.021(3) for hiring, disciplining, or promoting & RSMo 610.021 (13) personnel records, evaluation, and applications.

CLOSED SESSION 

The board approved the closed session minutes from the January 19, 2023 meeting.

A. The board approved the resignation of Amanda Armstrong effective at the end of the year.

B. The board approved the hiring of Kailey Griffith for MS ELA for the 2023-2024 School Year. 

C.  The Board discussed critical shortage options for hiring retired teachers in needed areas to use as an option for future staffing needs if needed. No action was taken.

D. The board voted to end the closed session and return to the open session.
