Strasburg C-3 School District proudly celebrates Dr. Chrystal Mayfield for being named the Outstanding Rural K-8 Superintendent of the Year by the Missouri Association of Rural Education (MARE)!
Dr. Mayfield’s leadership has transformed the educational experience for students, staff, and families in Strasburg. From improving academic opportunities and expanding student services, to ensuring strong financial stewardship and building lasting community partnerships, she continues to place student success at the forefront of every decision.
Her efforts have led to significant growth in academic achievement, increased family engagement, and meaningful upgrades to facilities that foster school pride and belonging. Dr. Mayfield’s open-door leadership style, relentless advocacy, and commitment to rural education have earned the admiration of her colleagues, families, and community partners across Missouri.
