Come on out to Strasburg PTO's Variety Show tomorrow evening, April 22nd @7pm! These kids have been working hard and want to show you what they can do! We will have a free popcorn bar and bottled water available (donations accepted). We will also have Strasburg merchandise and trash bags for sale, cash only. Hope to see you there!

Students in grades 4th-8th were rewarded today for their performance on last year's MAP test! Those earning rewards will be coming home tonight with gift cards!

The next Variety Show rehearsal will be Wednesday, 4/19. Pick up time will be 5:30pm. This is a dress rehearsal. Please pick up from the teacher parking lot so kids do not need to cross the highway. Parents of participants, please check your email for further details. Thank you!

MAP testing is just around the corner! Join us for spirit week, April 18-21, as we prepare to take the tests. MAP testing starts April 25th!

April is the month of the military child. On Friday, April 14th, wear PURPLE to show your support to military children.

The next Variety Show rehearsal is tomorrow, 4/12 after school. Pick up time will be 5:00pm. Please pick your student up from the teacher parking lot next to the school so we do not have children crossing the highway without a crossing guard. Acts should be completed by this rehearsal and students should bring any props they will be using.

Strasburg C-3 operates on a four-day school week. The district provides a 1:1 initiative with students in grades K-8 using Chromebooks. The student population is about 120 students K-8, with 16 certified staff members. Strasburg is a rural community with outstanding community support located 30 minutes south of Blue Springs, MO. The Strasburg C-3 School District is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of teacher’s assistant for the 2023-2043 School Year. Applicants must successfully complete a background check and have a substitute teacher certification in order to work under the direct supervision of an appropriately certified teacher to provide instructional assistance. Interested applicants can obtain an application for non-certified staff/support staff at the school office or from the district website at strasburg.k12.mo.us, under the human resources tab. The application should accompany a letter of interest and at least (3) references. This is an hourly position working 8:00- 4:00, four days a week. This position is open until filled. Variety Show rehearsal will end at 5pm tomorrow (Wed 3/22). Please make sure your student is picked up promptly. If your child would like to be in the show but has not signed up through Sign Up Genius or turned in their slip, please make sure they have done either one prior to the rehearsal tomorrow, or they will not be able to stay.
